A global respiratory illness was discovered in late 2019 that causes very severe illness and death in some; and very minor symptoms in others. There is still a lot to learn about the disease. The best way to protect yourself against any strain of the COVID-19 virus is to get vaccinated.
COVID-19 Testing
Testing for COVID-19 is widely available in Iowa through hospitals, clinics, and other providers. Convenient at-home testing is also available through https://www.testiowa.com.
Test Positive for COVID-19?
If an individual tests positive, regardless of vaccination, they may need to isolate up to 10 days. Please see the following links from the CDC for this guidance.
