Iowa Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology

The Iowa Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology evaluates the qualifications of applicants for licensure and grants licenses to those who qualify. The Board establishes rules and regulations to ensure the integrity and competence of licensed speech pathologists and audiologists and investigates complaints for unprofessional conduct. The Board is the link between the consumer and the licensed speech pathology or audiology practitioner and, as such, promotes the public health, welfare and safety.

The Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact (ASLP-IC) allows eligible licensed audiologists and speech-language pathologists an alternative method for providing services in other member states. If you are interested in learning more about the ASLP-IC Compact visit https://aslpcompact.com/commission/.
