Public Notice for Public Comment
Pursuant to the authority of Iowa Code Section 249A.4, the department proposes to amend the HCBS ID Waiver to change the provider reimbursement methodology for supported community living (SCL), residential based supported community living (RBSCL), adult day care and day habilitation services to a tiered rate reimbursement. Tiered rates are assigned to an ID Waiver recipient based on the results of the Supports Intensity Scale ® (SIS) core standardized assessment. This notice provides details about the waiver amendment and serves to open the 30-day public comment period which closes on October 31, 2017.
