Pursuant to the requirements outlined in 42 CFR 447.205 and 1902(a)(13)(A) of the Social Security Act, notice is hereby given that the Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) has posted for public comment Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) IA-20-009. This SPA proposes to update methods and standards for supplemental payments to physician and professional services at qualifying Iowa state-owned or operated professional services practices under the State Plan under Title XIX of the Social Security Act Medical Assistance Program (Medicaid).
This is effective for services on or after July 1, 2020.
