In 2018, 3% of Iowa youth reported they used prescription medications that were not prescribed by their doctor in the past 30 days. Also, 2% of 6th graders, 3% of 8th graders, and 3% of 11th graders reported having used prescription medications that were not prescribed by their doctor in the past 30 days.
