Join us for a series of engaging public forums where people receiving long-term services and supports can connect directly with Iowa Medicaid leaders. Bring your loved ones and together, let's envision the life you desire in your home and community.

We are depending on our community of Iowans to help us make the right decisions and come up with ideas for how we move forward.

Upcoming HOMEtown Conversations

As part of the Iowa HHS Hope and Opportunities in Many Environments (HOME) project, we're inviting folks in Iowa to join our HOMEtown Conversations. This October and November, Iowa HHS leaders will be having conversations with Iowans in various communities.

These HOMEtown Conversations provide a chance for you to get the latest updates on the HOME project and share your thoughts on how HHS can make community-based services in Iowa better. Your input based on your own experiences can drive meaningful change. You can participate in a local, in-person event near you or join a virtual session to help guide and provide input to HHS.

We want to hear from various groups of Iowans, including:

  • People who use community-based services, caregivers, and advocates
  • Providers
  • Case managers and supervisors
  • Community-based organizations and advocacy groups
