As part of the Iowa HHS Hope and Opportunities in Many Environments (HOME) project, we invited folks in Iowa to participate in HOMEtown Conversations. In October and November of 2023, Iowa HHS leadership directly connected with Iowans receiving long-term services and supports across the state.
These HOMEtown Conversations provided a chance for Iowans to get the latest updates on the HOME project and share their thoughts on how HHS could make community-based services in Iowa better. The input provided has been essential in informing changes to the community-based services waiver system.
