Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Network
The ADRC network's purpose is to help older adults and people with disabilities in Iowa to find services they need.
What is an Aging & Disability Resource Center?
In the state of Iowa the ADRC network is made up of Disability Access Points (DAP), Area Agencies on Aging (AAA), and the ADRC Technical Assistance and Call Center (ADRC TACC). As part of the network any one of these agencies may simply be referred to as an ADRC. The network’s purpose is to help make it easier for older adults and people with disailities to find the services and support they need.
ADRC Disability Access Point (DAP)
A Disability Access Point or “DAP” are local places that help people with disabilities, their families, and their caregivers find the services and support they need—both short-term and long-term.
ADRC Area Agencies on Aging (AAA)
An Area Agency on Aging, or AAA, helps people over age 60, caregivers, and adults over 18 with disabilities live healthy and independent lives.
