Iowa HHS is excited to announce a partnership with the Sunny Day Fund to automate and incentivize employers to offer employees the opportunity to establish savings accounts that help stabilize Iowa families.
In partnership with Iowa HHS, Sunny Day Fund provides employer-sponsored economic mobility accounts that help working Iowans build financial resilience through automatic payroll savings. Employees can save toward multiple goals, earn competitive interest, and access their money anytime without penalties. Employers use the Sunny Day Fund to support workforce financial stability, engagement, and retention.

This pilot program is available to any employers with employees in Iowa. The state of Iowa will match up to $100 for employees who earn less than 300% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), at no cost to the employer.
