Iowa Health Link Provider Networks 

Iowa Health Link members get their health care from providers in their Managed Care Organization's (MCO’s) provider network, see the 'MCO Providers' section below.

Dental services for Iowa Health Link members will not be covered by the MCO. To find dental providers, see the 'Dental Providers' section below.

MCO Providers

 

There are several ways to find out which providers are enrolled with your MCO.

  1. Use the MCO’s online Find a Provider Tool (linked above)
  2. Speak with your provider directly to see if they are enrolled with your MCO
  3. Contact your MCO by phone or email
  4. Call Iowa Medicaid Member Services at 1-800-338-8366 or 515-256-4606

 

Medicaid Fee-for-Service (FFS) Provider Network

If you are NOT enrolled with an MCO, find a provider who accepts Iowa Medicaid Fee-for-Service (FFS) coverage by visiting the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services Medicaid Provider Search webpage.

 

Dental Provider Networks

The Dental Wellness Plan provides dental coverage for adult Iowa Medicaid members, age 19 and older.

Dental services are available to Iowa Medicaid members age 18 and younger through the Iowa Medicaid Fee-for-Service (FFS) program. To find a dental provider who accepts Iowa Medicaid FFS coverage, visit the Iowa Department of Human Services Medicaid Provider Search webpage.

Members of both the Dental Wellness Plan and Dental Wellness Plan Kids have the same two dental carrier options to choose from: Delta Dental of Iowa or MCNA Dental. Both dental carriers offer the same benefits and have their own network of dentists and dental providers.

Hawki Provider Networks

The Hawki program gives you health coverage through a Managed Care Organization (MCO). A MCO is a health plan that makes sure you get the care you need from their network of providers. The MCOs have a large network of providers across the state.
