This interactive ArcGIS map displays multiple layers of data related to oral health. It includes community water fluoridation information—such as water system location, fluoridation status, and fluoride concentration—as well as tooth decay rates for children and young adults by county, provided by Iowa’s regional I-Smile programs. The map also highlights areas identified as Dental Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs). These layers offer a comprehensive view of oral health across the state of Iowa to support planning, monitoring, and informed decision-making.
