IHAWP Community Engagement Requirements

In July 2025, the federal Working Families Tax Cut (WFTC) law was enacted, introducing federal work requirements called ‘community engagement.’ Iowa will adjust our work requirements implementation to align with this federal law, which differs slightly from the state legislation.
