Since 2022, Iowa HHS has been hard at work to strengthen the stateβs Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) system through the Hope and Opportunities in Many Environments (HOME) project. Big systems changes take time, and HHS is committed to taking time to approach HOME changes thoughtfully and effectively.
