Take the Aging System Input Survey!
Take the Survey Now!
The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services wants to hear from you. We are doing a survey to learn about the current experiences and learn how changing areas served by Area Agencies on Aging could affect services.
Why your input matters:
Your input is essential to ensuring that the experiences and needs of older Iowans across the state are well represented. The results will be shared with state leaders as part of a report required by House File 2707.
Who should take the survey:
Older Iowans, caregivers, service providers, advocates for older Iowans, volunteers, and anyone who works with or supports older adults, especially in rural or underserved communities.
When is the survey open:
The survey is open until 8 a.m. on October 16.

Back to topOverview
HHS provides support and services to Iowans aged 60 years and older.
In 2050, it's estimated that 19.9% of Iowa's population will be age 65 or older. This means our services are more important now than ever.
- We work to empower older adults to maintain their independence.
- We advocate on behalf of older Iowans to ensure their rights, safety, and well-being.
- We also help people with more specific social and economic needs.
