Competency-Based Training (CBT)
Competency-Based Training (CBT) and technical assistance (TA) for Iowa Long-Term Services and Support (LTSS) providers and case managers includes free live and on-demand learning with core competencies in mind for provider agencies and for those who work directly with members served across programs.
Integrated Health Home (IHH) Collaborative Trainings
An Integrated Health Home (IHH) is a team of professionals, including family and peer support services, working together to provide whole-person, patient-centered, coordinated care for adults with a serious mental illness (SMI) and children with a serious emotional disturbance (SED). Working in collaboration with the Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), Iowa Medicaid has created an ongoing series of webinars to ensure IHHs receive up-to-date training and information. HCBS Brain Injury Training Modules
This training course is intended for service providers in Iowa public service agencies, including: Local Management Entities (LMEs), vocational rehabilitation or independent living offices, educators, case managers, substance abuse or mental health professionals, social security or social services professionals, advocacy or support agencies, family members or anyone else who supports people with brain injury. Independent Support Broker Training
These training sessions are for individuals interested in becoming Independent Support Brokers (ISB) through Iowa Medicaid's Consumer Choices Option (CCO) program. You must have internet and email access, be able to complete all training requirements, and pass a background check in order to participate in the ISB Training. Medicaid Tools for Providers
Iowa Medicaid has created a host of tools that help providers obtain information regarding a variety of areas such as enrollment, eligibility, and general Medicaid news for providers.
Iowa Medicaid Portal Access (IMPA)
Iowa Medicaid implemented a provider portal called Iowa Medicaid Portal Access (IMPA) that is managed by the Provider Services unit. IMPA is a web-based tool that allows providers access to multiple different functions that may be needed. Through this tool providers are able to access:
