Each additional user that would like access to the provider’s information can complete the Additional Access Request Form.

Phone Support for ELVS

Iowa Medicaid has an automated phone system that providers can use anytime—24/7—to check a member’s eligibility.

Enter your provider number and the member’s State ID to find out:

  • If the member is eligible (for today or a past date)
  • If the member has other insurance
  • If the member is enrolled in a Managed Care program
  • If the member has a remaining spenddown

If you don’t have the member’s State ID, you can use their date of birth and Social Security number instead.

You can also check your last payment and payment date through this system.
