Event Details
This mini professional development session targets home visitor interactions with families through the coaching model, to facilitate building a strong social-emotional foundation in very young children. This session will also offer foundational learning for understanding of the social-emotional domain overall. This purpose of the session is to assist with staff development by offering tools specific to growth and development. This will help target specific skills as well as to identify and approach possible concerns.
Targeted learning will include:
- Defining social-emotional development in very young children.
- Developmental milestones (Digging into concern areas)
- Strategies to help develop, foster, and increase appropriate interactions to strengthen a strong social emotional foundation in very young children
