The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), pursuant to the requirements outlined in 42 C.F.R. ยง447.205, hereby gives notice of the following proposed action regarding changes to the reimbursement rates for 1915(i) State Plan HCBS Habilitation services under the State Plan for Title XIX of the Social Security Act Medical Assistance Program (Medicaid).
Summary of Submission
Pursuant to the authority of 2024 Iowa Acts, House File (SF) 2698, Section 14, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024, reimbursement rates for 1915(i) State Plan HCBS Habilitation services will be increased by 4.10%.
Estimated Fiscal Impact
The estimated increase in Medicaid fee-for-service (FFS) expenditures for State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2025 related to the Medicaid reimbursement rate increases is:
Total Dollars: $ 65,275
Federal Dollars: $ 41,429
State Dollars: $ 23,845
